Comment: John A. Winn, his wife Hanna and daughters came to the U.S. from Czechoslovakia in 1939. he became a well-known psychiatrist and died in 1983.

The USS North Carolina (BB-55) My all-time favorite warship. As an elementary school student in North Carolina, I donated nickels and dimes to save this ship back in the early sixties.
