"Samuel Lund of DeKalb will take added interest in the war because one son is already in the army, a second is about to enter the navy, and a third goes to the marine base next month.
"A year from now another son will be of age to go."

The USS North Carolina (BB-55) My all-time favorite warship. As an elementary school student in North Carolina, I donated nickels and dimes to save this ship back in the early sixties.
